Barton Fink The only reason I rented this was because I like watching John Turturro. It was about a play write with writers block. So boring I returned it before seeing the whole thing - I Rarely do that - and asked for a refund - it had been a free favorites rental at Blockbusters.
Silver Bullet

movie : The silver Bullet based on a Stephen King story, with Gary Busey . The only reason I bothered to watch this was because it was a Stephen King movie and Gary Busey was in it. And the only reason I watched the whole thing was because I'm so exhausted from dealing with this broken arm I was too tired to change the channel. I'm sure the only reason it was produced was because it was a Stephen King thing. Predictable! all the way. I enjoyed the small parts that were narrated and I liked the way a normal guy takes his crippled nephew under his wing helping him to have a nice life much against the anal mother's liking. He helped the boy have the privilege of "being bad". Nice going Gary. And of course the two children have to convince their non believing, though greatly supportive uncle to believe there really was a wear wolf out there. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 3.

Timeline movie : Timeline ; rated pg 13 ; about archeologists who go back to 14th century France to rescue a friend trapped in time. Based on a Michael Crichton novel. I enjoyed this movie quite a bit especially since the last three days I haven't seen anything worth watching and in my condition I've seen a lot. . First of all I almost always love period movies because the sets and costumes are so interesting and this one did not let me down. From the thick gauze like curtains in the window to the colors of the French and English shields it was all a treat to see. The only part that seemed off was the shot of the tight dancer like leggings on one of our heroines as she climbed along the walls of a building. The acting was all good. The characters and plot were all expected but that doesn't take away from the entertainment value of this movie. Definitely worth the price of a new DVD rental and if I went to the theater more often I would not have been disappointed. Besides I always love movies that have the element of time travel. on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 7.
SAT. MAY 15 while recovering from a broken wrist, my right one - I'm right handed - I've watched a lot of movies. I'm going to share my opinions.
