These glass spiders are very delicate. I watched Lucio Bubacco make one on the Chemeketa Community College Master Flameworking Series DVD and made a few spiders. I've really enjoyed the process and when it warms up some I'm going back out to my RGP and make a few more. Annealed at 925 degees. Size big, see picture below with a quarter and an old Kodac film canister for comparison. The first few of my spider sculptures have sharp punty breaks at the back of the spider.
