I'm not getting any emails from eBay or pay pal right now, and for the past several days.... hmmmmm...... wonder what 's going on. Well, I'm making marbles today. It is sunny warm and beautiful.

Dream~ I have long silky black hair and I'm cutting it with a razor, pulling the back part over to my left side to see if it's even with the right side, not quite right, I keep cutting with the razor. I'm at the Wrightsville beach house where I spent summers growing up. fin.

Dream~ I'm on a cot in a cabin, leaning over to see a pod, I know if I examin it closely I will understand how Buckminster Fuller came up with his design for the geodesic dome or maybe if I find a spider web. fin.

I'm one of the people who took French in high school, well actually I started in about kindergarten I think and took it every year through the first year of college and I made it all the way through French 2. I don't seem to have a proclivity for languages. I want to know enough Spanish to learn her story, because she has something that says her story is worth hearing.

Here's what I wonder with all the fussing and screaming about immigration. How do we get off saying who can come in our country and who can't, who gets to work, and who doesn't. There is not one person here who didn't have an ancestory who came over, that includes American Indians. I'm pretty sure from what I've heard the earliest man started somewhere over there not somewhere over here. It's so 6th grade. My parents were here before yours so I get to make the rules. I hate that. Who is to say which people would benefit "our" country and which ones would be a drain. Anyway, we are all people sharing a planet. I do love a democracy and especially like a market economy so if the majority says we can play our country is a country club and you can't come in unless we say then, well, I guess, the majority rules. It does make me curious just how it all works out for my friend Tella. Is she "legal" or illegal? Does she have a green card? How'd she get it? What is her plan, how did she get here, what was going on when she decided to leave her home and friends to come to Raleigh, NC where she can't even speak English? What would it take for me to leave everything I know go to a country where I don't speak the language. She is brave and adventuresome. I love her teeth! She has those teeth that are rimmed in silver. That is so cool and she is cool. I think she likes sweet potatoes.

I have a friend named Tella. She doesn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish, so we are both trying to learn the other's language. I heard about a teacher who claimed he could teach anyone how to speak a language in about 3 days. Michel Thomas. I heard about him on NPR about a month or so ago when they said he was the language teacher to the stars and he had died. I went to Amazon.com and found a used version of his CD's for learning Spanish. I've been listening for about a month and have learned how to say things like, I want it but I don't need it, in Spanish. After learning that I went up to Tella and said in Spanish, I want it but I don't need it, so proud I could speak her language knowing she probably thought I was nuts but maybe fun too.

I know a lot about her already, she has been here from some city I've never heard of in Mexico, She has 9 children, and some of them are still down there. I've met 4 of her children I think they all live in her son in laws apartment who has at least 2 children of his own. None of them speak much English. Three of them go to my son's elementary school and they seem to speak almost no English.
